I need to finish my shop befor I start the wings. UPDATE 9/22/03. I haven't finished the shop so I'll have to build the wings in the garage. I placed my wing order today. 9/22/03

Riveting on the platenuts

Countersinking the front spar.
I riveted on the platenuts first then drilled out the CS. This worked well and didn't damage the threds on the platenuts. The one on the right is with a platenut and the one on the left is with a jig like most guys are useing, both work well but you have to put the platenut on anyways

Platenuts in and primed
Used a Q-tip to apply primer to the CS holes. |
